Call for Paper

The AIWEST-DR is an annual event to commemorate the tragic event of the 2004 Sumatra Tsunami Disaster that have affected many countries around the Indian Ocean and also to learn and prepare for, based on the recovery experiences from the disaster, building a future society which has a strong resilience to tsunami & similar Disasters. The AIWEST-DR was started in December 2006 to inaugurate the establishment of Tsunami and Disaster Mitigation Research Center (TDMRC) of Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh that is located in the middle of the most tsunami-devastated community in the region and losing more than 190 faculty members and thousands of students and staff. Following the successful organization of AIWEST-DR from, 2006, the 6th Workshop will be organized in November 2011. This year workshop is in conjunction with 4th South China Sea Tsunami Workshop (SCSTW-4)

Paper Submission

Prospective authors are invited to submit a one page abstract of not more than 500 words in English outlining the scope of their paper and the important points they believe would benefit the interested readers.
